Miriam is a classical pianist with a B.A. and M.A. in music with honors
from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. Miriam is also
a dancer, and has done ballet, tap and folk dance for many years.  As a
New York State certified music educator, Miriam taught elementary music,
dance and chorus for six years in Long Island public schools before the
birth of her three children.

After greatly enjoying Music Together classes with her daughter Rebecca,
Miriam decided to become a registered Music Together teacher and share
her love of music, movement and dance with children once again. She
accompanies her classes on autoharp and offers piano lessons to both
children and adults.
